This giveaway hop is hosted by I Am A Reader Not A Writer
Hi all! Welcome to the Printed Books Giveaway. So, I’d just like to say that even though I used to loathe reading books in e-book format, I’ve (slowly and steadily) grown to like (still not love) reading e-books. That said, I still have a very special place in my heart for printed books. There’s something about having a physical book in your hands. Maybe it’s the fact that you can smell it. Or maybe it’s that you can feel the crisp (or sometimes worn and yellowed) pages between your fingers. Either way, reading printed books is more personal for me. Thus my eager participation in this fabulous giveaway. *grin*

I prefer print over e-books. It just feels right having the book in my hand but e-books are convenient at times. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
Definitely print books. I like the feel of them in my hands and I like to see them pile up after I' finished reading. It gives me a sense of accomplishment.

It depends! I love the portability of e-books when I travel, but when I'm home I love visiting the library and bringing home piles of books and stacking them next to me as I dive in.
ReplyDeleteI prefer printed books, but with two kids I get more reading done electronically.
ReplyDeleteprint books, I like to look through the pages and check out the cover
ReplyDeleteI only read printed :)
ReplyDeletePrinted = the smell and feel of adventure.
ReplyDeleteElectronic = burning eyes and a cramping scroll finger. Not to mention words that can be taken away if Amazon so pleases.
Books happily collect dust until I wish to read them again, and again, and again.
I prefer printed books because I love being able to hand a book I adored to a friend or a student. :)
ReplyDeletePrinted books because I can show them off on my shelves.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway.
I prefer printed books. They feel more comfortable in my hands.
ReplyDeletePrint books, because I love the feel of the physical book in my hands. And personally, I think the covers look much prettier in print. :)
ReplyDeleteI love both printed and e-books, the only time I really have a preference is when it comes to favorites I must have a copy on my shelf. If it's a book I'm unsure of, I go for the cheapest route, which is usually e-books.
ReplyDeletePrinted, because (this is really weird) I like to be able to see how far through I am, not just a page number.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love books of verse. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI like both for different reasons. There is nothing that compare to the feel and scent of a print book in your hands. Plus I love to thumb through a book to reread my favorite scenes. But with ebooks, you can literally have your entire library in the palm of your hands. Ebooks also give you the privacy to read anything anytime.
ReplyDeleteI like printed books. I like to hold the book in my hands when I read it. I'll know when I'm almost done (:
ReplyDeleteI prefer print books because they're easier on my eyes and I love holding/smelling them!
ReplyDeletePrint! I love being able to flip through the pages easily. I also love seeing the books on my shelves. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteUsually e-books because they seem more convenient. But I do like to own my favorites in print!
ReplyDeleteI prefer print books because you just can't beat the feeling of holding a book in your hand.
ReplyDeletePrinted something about the thickness
ReplyDeletePrinted books. I love having the book in my hands.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
printed for reviews, easier to keep track of
ReplyDeleteI love print books.

Printed books – there's just something about holding something in your hand and feeling the pages as you turn them. And then of course, spending hours just gaping at the gorgeous cover and texture :P Thanks for the amazing giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI like both but would rather a physical book.
ReplyDeleteI like both. I actually listen to most of the books I read because I can do that at work.
ReplyDeleteI really don't prefer one over the other for the most part. Sometimes I like my ebooks, and sometimes I like my print books. I will admit though if a book is a favorite I will always "need" to have it in a print copy so it's possible that I might still have a bit of a love for print copies. It is nice to be able to hold so many on the kindle though for space reasons. I think I just like to read so much I am just glad to get books!

I like both, but I do have a slight preference for print. When I like an ebook enough, I'll buy it in print.
ReplyDeletePhysical books :D! There's nothing like the feeling of a real book in my hands and a nice place for it in my shelf :3
ReplyDeletePrint because you can hold them in you hands and actually turn the pages!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like an awesome book!
ReplyDeleteI love prints because nothing beats the smell of a new book or the feel of your favorite book. They will be what stands the test of time. And I just don't feel the same excited anticipation of turning the page with a e-reader. And if you really love a book your not going to hand your kindle/nook/tablet etc. over to someone to borrow so they can experience the enjoyment you had with the book. Lets face it prints are better than digital. Period.
ReplyDeletePrint--love the smell and feel of reading a good book! A computer just can't do that :)
ReplyDeleteI like printed books because I love the feeling of closing it when I'm done! :)
ReplyDeleteFor me, its printed books all the way. There's just something about the experience of readinga a physical book thats just... MORE. Know what I mean? :-)
ReplyDeleteprint because i don't have an ereader - regnod(at)yahoo(d0t)com
ReplyDeletePrint because I just love having an actual book in my hands :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the awesome giveaway!
i like ebooks for traveling and print at home
ReplyDeletePrint, because I like to have a real book in my hands, and because I love the way all the books looks in my bookshelves. :) Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletePrinted, of course.

Combo, it depends…
ReplyDeleteLove my paperbound books. Nothing like turning pages, holding a real book. Can get cheaper books on sale, @ second-hand bookstore-as well as older books there too- & nothing beats $1 hardback or $0.50 paperback books at Goodwill or Salvation Army stores.
But I’m running out of room in my house, so ebooks are great. Love how easy it is to put my kindle in my purse & have several books in one small space. Many ebooks are cheaper than their paperbound versions. (But the famous authors often cost full price. Would love to have that explained to me.)
The one thing better than second-hand bookstore- FREE books!! Either publisher specials or things like amazon deals where first released books are free are just great. I won’t even admit to how many of those I have on my kindle account, lol.
So I will never be all one type of reader…
Much prefer printed books...as I add them to my high school library :)
ReplyDeleteI like ebooks for the ease and convenience of reading away from home, but at home I prefer printed books to model reading for my children
ReplyDeletePrinted because I love to feel the actual turn of the pages!
ReplyDeleteHard to choose! I love the convenience of ebooks, but there is something special about having a printed book in your hands.
ReplyDeletePrinted! I love the smell and the feel of them.
ReplyDeleteStill printed books for me!
ReplyDeleteprint so I can hold it
ReplyDeleteI do prefer e-books, but there is always something special about a physical book!
ReplyDeleteprint! I like them physically in my hands
